Spinoff to progesterone suppositories...
You know, most of the *irritation* I get from the suppositories is caused by the applicator rather than the progesterone itself, so shoving it up there sounds like a good option for me.
So here's the TMI question...
You can get it good and up there with the applicator. How far to you have to "shove" when doing it by hand I'm just concerned about getting it up there far enough.
TIA!

Sorry for the TMI everyone, but, for me when not using the applicator- I would put them on the tip of my finger and keep going until it stopped.
Thew hardest thing to me was getting them out of the plastic they were wrapped in without reaking them

I never had an applicator - you just pop them in there as far as they will go.
Kind of like using OB tampons (which I never liked but whatever)

Re: Spinoff to progesterone suppositories...
I think the irritation is from the cream it is suspended in which I heard was cocoa butter. I'd rather use the applicator because(TMI) you can cut yourself with your finger

The ones I use come in a disintegrating capsule. So I would just push it up as far as my finger will go and that was it.

Re: Spinoff to progesterone suppositories...
I did my first one today. It really wasn't that bad. I just stuck it up as far as it would go. Now the leaking is another thing!

DEFINITELY wear a pad - a light day one, but a liner is not enough.

Unless you are prone to yeast infections - which I am - and in between retrieval and transfer had to deal with a yeast infection on top of everything else....
