oh boy did I live for my barbies...it took way too long for me to give them up.
I had the monchichis!! And a collection of Strawberry Shortcake - the original. I remember going to a shop several years ago that had old toys and they had her and the smell just took me back...(this was before they re-released Strawberry Shortcake).
One toy I will NEVER forget- and I can't find it on the internet ANYWHERE!
Did anyone else have MY PUPPY PUDDLES?!?!?!

It was a dog that had this tongue sticking out with two holes in it. You'd squeeze his 'collar' and he'd drink out of his bowl. Then...the best part...you sit him down on the 'trainer' and he'd pee!! They even gave you 'newspaper' to put down!
The two little holes in his tongue? I stuck tiny pretzels sticks in them so he of course never drank again!!

I've got 3 I can think of off the top of my head....
merlin (ooooh, it's got a microchip inside!)
mouse trap (LOVED that game)
and slot car sets

Does anyone remember Adorable Dora?
It was a plastic pig that had a microphone. You sang into the mic and the pig kind of moved along with the singing.
I better google it......

I remember that! They came out with this a few years back Pee Pee Max my daughter thought it was hilarious. Same idea only he was remote controled.

OMG that toy was 1980?? Well I guess it does make sense (I was 6)...for some reason I thought it was a little later but I guess if it was 1984 or something it would have been a little odd for me to have one.
then again...I didn't give up barbies til late 8th grade...

From the picture, it looks like the Barbie Dream condo, that I had. The elevator had a string that went up over the roof and a little handle that you could pull to make it move.

Wow, do I feel old!!
What I find amazing is that a lot of these toys that we had growing up (and I am 36 now), my own kids have a version of it! Of course, it will never be the same as it was!

anyone else have this I cannot think of the name of it
It was this big casette player that came with a spiral book and it was like a choose your adventure. There were 4 big buttons (red, green, yellow and blue) and depending on what button you pushed you change the story. I had a sesame street book one. But u can get a ton of different books and cassettes
Anyone else have it and know the name????????????
