I drank MORE before 21 than after turning 21!!!
I didn't drink AT the prom, but afterwards.

My BF at the time was 21 so he brought us a few beers I think. I dont even think I finished one - I wasnt in the limo with drinking type of people.

No, not one sip. Although me and my BFF had the only dates at the prom that were both over 21 so the guys did go to the hotel bar a few times.

Wow!! I must have went to a HS of raging alcoholics, lol!
I think every limo party that arrived that night was drunk from the ride over.
I know there is a reason why the school district needed to crack down on it...
I told my sis that she missed out of a really long boring ceremony and there are better things awaiting her in college...still doesn't make her feel much better.
OH and carol..totally forgot it was the limo driver who bought the alcohol cause i knew it wasn't us!!! LOL! Ironic, huh?

That wasnt all we did. I think actually 3/4 of our whole class was drunk at prom. Teachers knew and to tell you the truth I dont think they cared. It was prom, we all did it, we went to parties after and we all were drunk.

I was so trashed by the time we got to the prom that I kept calling my principal by her 1st name, til this day people yell out to me what I yelled ion my principal's face all night.."Come on Marylou, loosen up and dance with us", I tortured ehr all night, hence, I was UNinvited to the senior awards ceremoney where I would of received about 6 awards (for sports and dance). By the time we got out to Montauk I had to be carried But I had fun

my parents did not serve any alcohol to the people i was with before... alcohol was never allowed to my friends at my house- never offered- never an option (until we became 21 of course lol)...
there was no alcohol in our limo
and, i mean- i don't know about others for sure so i'll just speak for myself from the time we got to the prom on-- and i didn't drink anything besides soda while at the prom.
afterwards, i went out east to a bed and breakfast with my serious boyfriend at the time... that was that.
my mom always said i came out the womb 35 years old.
BTW, same thing went for my junior- only afterwards we went back to my house and just had a sleepover with my girlfriends.
ETA: I never drank any alcohol until I was 21. I guess I just listened to the Law lol... my parents, upon finding this out, said "wow, so you mean you actually LISTENED to us when we told you not to drink underage???!!!" I was like, YEAH! I always listened to you-- they were like wow, amazing!

No, not before not during and I don't think after either. My mom had one rule for me growing up...don't drink. I could stay up as late as I wanted, color my hair whatever shade of blue I desired, but drinking was one think she begged me to think long and hard about. And since several people from my HS died in drunk driving accidents, she had a point.
