Spinoff to MegaMillions...

A postal worker from Glasgow has just on £35 million ($70 million) on Euromillions lottery...so imagine thats you.

What are you giong to do first??
And then what will you do?

There is only one thing I would do- travel. I would book a trip to Africa first.

4. Pay Bills (help my parents and inlaws as well).
5. VACATION
6. Put the rest all in the bank.

OOoh and 2 new cars would be in order.

I would pay off bills for family
set my uncle up with something to keep him off the streets
replace unreliable cars
set up college for the babes in the family
buy a nice house
travel like crazy
then have a baby

i think the quitting the job part is obvious.

dh would still work, it took him way too long to get where he is to walk away.

Buy a house in Montauk.
Invest for kids' college.
Help family members out.
Book a nice vaca.
I'm sure I'd figure out what to do with the rest!

I just told all of my team that if I won the lottery I would buy them all cars (with a disclaimer that they would have to cost under £3k. Several of them asked for the cash.)

I would:

Quit my job
Buy a BIG house, a Victorian one with loads of original features and a PoggenPohl kitchen
Give my IL's and my parents enough money to retire very comfy on
Give my sister whatever she wanted
buy my closest friends something lovely
Have more babies


Something along those lines.

3.) get my parents out of debt and set them up in a small house of their choice
4.) get us out of debt and set us up in a BIG house of our choice
5.) summer house somewhere relaxing
6.) new cars for us
7.) travel

- make a donation to our nephews college funds
- make a donation to the American Cancer Society
- set my parents and inlaws up with a comfy retirement
- start making babies
- bank whatever is left over

As far as quitting jobs. I would become a SAHM when the time came but DH would always work. Maybe he would get a job at Home Depot in the gardening department or something. But he needs something to keep him busy.

1. pay off my bills/mortgage and/or buy a bigger house
2. set up a trust fund for my DD
3. Give a chunk of $$ to my family and my DH's family
4. probably wouldn't totally quit job, but would take a break to travel and be with my DH and DD, and may cut down on hours after that

After I recovered from the shock I would plan a vacation with my family and friends. One HUGE destination celebration with the people I love most.

Next I would take the power of spending away from myself and give it to someone who isn't such a pushover and wouldn't give every dime away.

And then I would put a good portion into investments and trust for my sons.

2) Sit on my arse and eat Bon Bons (for a day or two)
3) Buy a few homes (one on LI, one in Manhattan and one vacation home somewhere)
4) Put the rest away until I decide how I want to invest it or donate properly.

Okay, so that's like $30 million after taxes

1) Pay off all my debt, my hubby's debt, and our parents debt

2) Buy a gorgeous home outright in cash

3) Speak to a money manager to invest my money wisely so I can live off the interest forever

Fire them after they try to bilk me and hire a new crew.

Change my name, get plastic surgery and leave the country never to be found again.

then I would travel the world and send checks home to those who need.

then send checks anonymously to charity.
