oh my god..my mom was telling me it was in sane in brooklyn; my father got stuck on the L line b/c everything was down. LIRR was down.
I live in PA and we got some of it, but nothing like what NY had. I dont recall even hearing rain or anything in the forecast..came out of nowhere...

You see the green sky on the side? They say when you see a green sky there is usually a tornado. When I saw the green sky last night , I was freakin out !

I live in Bayside.
In my courtyard, the beautiful pine tree fell. Thank God it didn't hit anyone or anything. A lot of other big branches fell too, one just missing my car.

wow, we are in massapequa and had NO idea it was this bad! Rain, wind, lightning, thats all we got  
it reminds me of the storm in march, the noreaster on 3/13!

When my internet is repaired, I have a bunch of pictures of my block on my camera. My neighborhood is like a warzone! I live in NE Queens and we have tons of massive OLD trees all over. A lot uprooted and fell.  There but for the grace of God...

my coworkers husband had a tree go through the soft-top of his convertible -- WITH HIM IN IT!
he's OK. the car, not so much.
I was in the bronx when the storm passed. within 10 minutes it went from overcast to looking like the end of the world. No joke - it looked like midnight at 530pm
SO SCARY
We were on the Hutch as it flash-flooded. FUN!

They were seriously in the eye of the storm! I can't believe how that tree was being ripped the shreds! It looked like they were in the middle of a snow storm. I would have been FREAKING out!!! They are so lucky that the glass didn't get blown in!
