spinoff of alarms

besides Slomin's & ADT, what other alarm companies are there that are connected to a central station? To get a larger discount from our insurance company for our homeowners, we need an alarm with a central station connection.

Also, is Slomin's the cheapest? It seems ADT is a lot of money.

Lowitt is connected to a central station.

It's hard to compare price as you might have different needs than we have. We have all the windows, 3 doors to the house, the garage door, a motion sensor and fire alarms and pay less than $30 per month. It was already installed when we bought from ILs, we just continued the contract.

ETA: I forgot to say we have 1 keypad and 1 panic button too.

All Island Security, they are connected to a Central Station and they cost $24 a month which is only billed every 6 months.

Re: spinoff of alarms

We used Newday Security. We are connected to central station, it's $19.95 a month, billed every three months. We have alot of entry points and they were by far the best price for installation! We have all windows, 5 doors, three motion sensors, three smoke detectors, one glass break detector, a heat detector in the boiler room, remote panic button, three keypads. If you need there info let me know.

I got quotes from all the big companies (Slomin's, ADT, Brinks) and found Slomin's to be the cheapest. ADT wasn't much more in terms of monthly service charge but installation costs were ridiculously high for what we wanted. We are going with Brinks.

Re: spinoff of alarms

thanks girls. I'll begin calling soon for quotes! I greatly appreciate it. Since its a 2 bedroom townhouse with only 1 door and 5 windows, it shouldn't be more than $20 per month, maybe even cheaper.

Any townhouse girls have quotes?
