I work 9 hr days , 7 days a week
no lunch
so it is 45 hrs a week
my commute used to be 2 hrs in and 2 hrs back on the LIRR
so it was a 13 hr day - very long

i didn't answer since I'm a SAHM, but DH does 60+ in the office plus he does stuff at home on the weekends.

not me... but DH works some insane hours...mon-wed are late nights, he is in by 8 and doesnt leave til 8 or 9 (sometimes he can come home a little earlier but still needs to work from home.
Thursdays are "earlier" nights , he is home at 6 or 7 and Fridays too.... but there are also many times where he has to be working some hours Sat. and Sun!

I usually average 42 hours a week - some weeks are closer to 50 hours though

Usually 45-50...Not bad at all. I do have to bring work home sometimes, but I don't mind doing work from home.

Well I am currently unemployed from my first job, which was 35-40 hours then I hostess two nights which is only 10-15 hours a week. DH works 40-45 hours for his job, plus he has his own business, and works 25-30 in addition to his "real" job.

Having been a SAHM for the past 3 months,I am actually looking forward to "only" working 50 hours when I go back in January
