YES...but in essence...the act is more of a control and aggression issue....
So even though his pee pee is no longer...he will still have the urges and will find other things to use...

i know..i thought about that too....that the act has more to do with power and overcoming their victim...rather than sex itself.
but still, you rape, you get your pee pee chop chop....
i think its definitely a deterent and would make them think twice about actually violating someone like that.

Nope. They can still rape- even without their equipment. Usually when this happens, its more brutal.

You are NOT CRAZY! You are a responsible parent. Do you know how many people ignore these websites and then trust their kids with these predators, when all they had to do was look up the information online.

I agree with Red. I think if anything taking it off would just make them crazier.
I do feel like their sentences are just not long enough. I know they did not murder, but they did serious damage to their victim's life.

I agree- that the punishment should be very severe, but without a release, these rapists get crazier and crazier- blame women- and they their victims are subject to far worse tortures... Most rapes involving inatimate objects are far more brutal and violent.

You are TOTALLY correct. But there needs to be something else- stricter sentences- severe jail time- something. I used to be a rape crisis hotlien counselor- believe me I know. It really gets me so upset and angry- I just don't think castration is the way to go.

ETA...i think that hanging most people would consider that cruel and unusual but it is still a legal for of execution in New Hampshire

Hmmm....I thought for a sec that if you cut off the balls then an erection can't happen. But I could be wrong.....
An erection has to do with blood flow, not sperm production. But again, I don't know any castrated humans, so I'm not sure!
