Did anyone or will anyone sign up their DC for Sept?

Yes, Andy turns 2 in June, he starts day camp at the nursery school with Sarah in July and then in Sept the formal nursery school program. He's going 3 days a week for 2.5 hours a day.
I would have waited longer if he was an only child, but he already wants to stay and play when we drop Sarah off so I figured it would be torture if I kept him out any longer.

Not us. We're waiting til next year. No rush for us and the only way even if she could go at 2 was if i put her in a daycare setting. School around here start at 3.

Ahhh! To live outside NYC.
I was going to apply Jordana for preschool in September, but she is too young by a month. Since the competition is so fierce in Manhattan (especially the upper west side), I decided to wait a year. I think I will send her to a pre-school type program, and vigorously apply in September.

At DH's christmas party we were talking with 2 of the partners about this. We all have kids around the same age (Feb/Mar '05) and I was stunned to hear about how many rounds of interviews they and the child have had to go on for these nursery schools.

Ok. Well Andrew is all signed up. I just went down there. They only had one spot left in the 2 yr program and he got it. So much pressure I am so excited for him

we got the last spot for a mwf 2.5 hour program. starts in september so excited we got in. waited 2.5 hours to get into the program.

I am waiting until he is 3.
But I may sign him up for a toddler camp this summer for 2 hours a day at the beach club we joined. I have to see when the time gets closer how he is.
