Nope. If we get one it's in March but it's merit based and based on how well the company is performing.

Bonus was usually around 20%- 25% of salary, paid out in March for the prior year. It is basically guaranteed unless the company was doing very poorly. It is performance based to a point, basically everyone gets the bonus give or take a bit.
DH's bonus is 40% and guaranteed, also paid out in March.

DH gets a very sizable bonus every year, it's usually distributed in January. Every department gets a certain amount and its up to the directors/VP to allocate it to the people under them. Generally, they take into consideration performance throughout the year and they will adjust one's bonus up and down depending on that. There is no set amount that someone HAS to get, one person can get $1000 and someone else can get $15,000. It's very much tied to performance as well as how well the company did that year.

Yes, it is supposed to be merit based. It was years ago, and I loved it. They make us write up a review, go through an appraisal type process... and then bam everyone gets the same thing. Now they give a week, or two weeks to everyone. Usually get it in February.

Yes in December. In the past, it's been about one weeks pay before taxes but this year its performance based so I'm not sure how much it'll be.

My bonus is tied in with the company's financial performance for the year. We unfortunately did not do as well as last year, but I was notified today that I was still getting a bonus. It equates to a week's pay.

We get a bonus check the day of our holiday party. I really don't know how they determine the amount.  All I know is that the amount I received this year was double what I got last year, so I'm not complaining.

I get a 3% bonus yearly not factored into my salary. DH gets a minimum 10% yearly not built into salary. If the department meets certain criteria he can be awarded as high as 75%. On average employees get a 30% bonus but based on his contract he's guaranteed a minimum of 10% yearly paid in March.

When I used to work, my bonus used to be more than my base salary. It was both merit and based on how well the company was doing.
DH started a new job where he gets both a holiday bonus and then a collections based bonus. It isn't exactly a bonus. It's his revenue generated minus his salary minus his overhead.

Yes, it's based on how many years you've worked there. And it maxes out at 10%, 10 years, of your annual salary. I got a 9% xmas bonus this year, which was nice.
This is one of the reasons I would hate to leave my job, as much as I am not thrilled with it day to day.

Yes. I get a personal cash gift bonus from my boss (his own check) and a substantial firm bonus from all the partners. It is given the day of our holiday party.

I work for myself, so no bonus but I do give my assistant a bonus. She only makes $40 a week from me, but I give her $100 at Xmas and an extra $100 at my recital.
