Spin-off: Trader Joe's
I don't get why they don't have one in the Massapequa/Western Suffolk area yet.
I just went to the website and they are opening one soon in Westbury but that's still out of the way for me, and as I've said before, it's such a PITA to drive to Merrick.
We definitely have the population to support one here.
Someone posted awhile back they heard a rumor they may put one where the old Nautilus Diner used to be. Anyone hear anything else recently?
BTW: I checked the site last week and they didn't have anything up about the WB location so maybe there's still hope for us!

even if it meant you taking a trip to a nearby one, it's worth it. A lot of their prices are great and the food is simply delicious...great assortment of different snacks and stuff.
Hope one opens up near you soon, though!

Yeah, I've done that in the past for things like cheese that is half the price than the grocery store!!

Yes there's one in Plainview. It's wonderful, I go there 2 or 3 times a month!

I wish there was one closer too! I usually hop on the 135 and go to the one in plain view! I do luv uncle Giuseppe's, but they could have put a trader joes there!

I go to Plainview too. Their nuts are the cheapest and best around.
I find their prices are worth the trip for some key things I love.
I agree that they should open more stores in Suffolk.
