Spin off to waking up early post....
What would be your ideal time to go to bed and wake up? In a perfect world, with no kids , no work, no responsibilities.
I would say for me, I generally stay up until 12 - 12:30 on the weekends and would love to sleep until I naturally wake up around 830 or 9 am.
That would be ideal for me..... 12 or 12:30 am to 830 or 9 am. I feel so rested after that!

Spin off to waking up early post....
It's not so much that I'd like ideal bed/wake up hours, but if I could have a quick nap in the afternoon daily, I could rule the world

Re: Spin off to waking up early post....
Sometimes on a weekend, Friday or Saturday night- I will pass out on the couch while watching TV around 9-10 pm (usually on Friday because I'm tired from being up early for work that morning) Then I will wake up half an hour or 45 minutes later WIDE awake. And start watching a movie or something until 12 - or 1230. I kind of love it- it's me time since everyone else is asleep!
Then I just sleep until around 830 or 9 am the latest the next morning.
Heaven!

Exactly the same for me! My body just naturally wakes up around 7/7:30 no matter what time I go to bed.

I would like 12 sleeptime and wake up at 9:15ish. I currently go to bed around 11/11:30 and wake up at 7:30 or 8 (6 if I'm going to the gym).

Same. This is how it is on weekends a lot of the time. Or midnight - 10am. Ah, the benefits of not having kids

Re: Spin off to waking up early post....
While I was on bed rest /house arrest during my pregnancy and basically not allowed to do anything more then lay on the couch I went to bed around 12:30 and woke up about 9:30. Sometimes I would take a nap but not always since I didn't get that tired bc I was doing nothing .

Spin off to waking up early post....
Before I had my DS, I would sleep from 10/10:30-7 on the weekends and it was amazing! I am naturally an early riser.

Bed at around 1:00 am and up around 9:00 am. That would be my ideal. Now it is bed around 1 and up at 6:30 (with kid). When I was working I was in bed by midnight and up at 4:30.

Lol, exactly! No kids here either. Sleeping 14 hours on the weekend is not unheard of for me

do you sleep straight through? I can usually go 6.5 max before I have to pee.
speaking of which, I have to get up in 6 hours, so Ishould get to bed.
In college I used to sleep 2am-10am & have class at 11:30. It was perfect. now I think I'd like 12:30-7:30. (I just can't seem to get myself to bed by 11:30)

Fantasy - I'd love to be up until 12:30-1:30 and get up around 8:30.
Reality - I'm usually in bed no later than 12:30 and I'm up usually up at 7.
