Spin off to neighbor parking situation

I actually thought of this post this morning while I was shoveling. My across the street neighbor parked on our side of the street last night or yesterday some time while no one parked in front of their house. When the plows went down our block, the across the street neighbors were plowed very close to their house, while our house wasn't plowed close to at all. This happens EVERY snow storm and I am really at the point that I might say something!!!!! If they had no spots in front of their house I wouldn't mind. . . but . . . come on!!!!! Would you say something (I have been living here almost 4 years and this happens almost every snow storm) If you would. . . what would you say??? I don't want to seem like a beyotch but . . its getting annoying. They normally park in front of our house and it sometimes blocks our visibility getting out of our driveway!

Obviously they're doing it on purpose. I would use my snowblower and blow all the snow in front of my house in front of theirs.

I saw clean your driveway and burry their car even more. That would annoy me and car parking drama doesn't phase me.
I am not sure if this is true, but our neighbor told us today that we could be fined for having our car parked on the street durning the snow because the plow can't clean the streets properly. So DH moved his jeep and put it in the driveway. I am in NJ so I am not sure how it works in NY. Maybe look up the town ordinance for stuff like this and see what it says. If it says they can fined I would call the police and file and complaint.

It's really sad that some people give no consideration to their neighbors. You can say something, but that doesn't mean they'll stop parking in front of your house. If you do say something, just be prepared to lose a 'friend'.

If they park there during the next storm, I'd BURY their car...then maybe next time, they'll park in their driveway or in front of their own damn house.

Throw the snow from your street area and bury their car deeper in the snow. What a bunch of azzes!!!!

I have a different problem.

We have 4 cars in our house (2 in the driveway, the other 2 directly in front of the house).

I spend 238437 hours digging out the 2 cars in front for myself and the other to go to work and so we have a place to park tonight... Now my neighbors are parking there because they were too f'ing lazy to shovel in front of their house (they usually do not park in front of my house).

I would either park in front of their house or pile the car in even more once you shovel your driveway.

We had this and are not happy one bit. DH and I have been making it our business to bury the car even more. Hope they get the hint.

oh yeah, DH was telling me that the guy who was parking in front of our house for a while, parked his car in front of his neighbor's house across the street. He parked on the other side of the street. DH kept telling me it was messed up. The man who lives in the house he parked in front of is an old man. His side of the street did not get plowed because the guy did not clean his car out until later in the afternoon yesterday.

Like NICE DUDE!!!!!!!!! The old man cannot shovel all this snow and you stopped his side of the street from being cleaning up by parking your car in front of his house. Like WHY did you park your car there?????
