Sperm Analysis?
The RE I went to see today recommended DH gets tested.
I have blue cross/blue shield. What kind of doctor do I look under on the website?

Your GYN/RE should be able to give you a lab slip for you to go any of the labs that take your insurance. For example I have The Empire Plan for Gov't Employees and I have a slip to go to any of the ENZO labs that are close to my home...
My GYN gave me a "cup" and a lab slip... so when I go for my bloodwork, he has to leave a deposit  for them to analyze too...

The RE should be able to give you a RX. Mine gave me the RX and a cup and we took it to Quest in Syosset

I have blue cross blue shield too. My RE just gave me a Rx and a cup and told me to have DH call and make an appointment to drop it off. DH had to pay a co-pay and get a referral from his PCP just to do that. Crazy.

How come your RE isn't doing it? As an FYI, labs such as Quest and Labcorp use a different scale when doing a Sperm Analysis than an RE lab uses. RE's use a stricter scale to analyze the sample.
Does your RE office not have a lab on premises for this?

The RE does the sperm analysis in the city but he wanted me to get it done this week so i have the results to bring w/ me on friday so he can go over that and my bloodwork.
