Sort of spin-off: West Wing fans?

I noticed on the television show thread that some people mentioned seeing every episode of West Wing. I dare not dream that anyone's as obsessed as I am, but... well, suffice it to say I was wearing a Santos/McGarry shirt tonight. Anyone else reach this level of Sorkin obsession? (I'm perfectly willing to admit it's just me Chat Icon )

I caught up to WW when they ran it from start to finish on Bravo, every night. I loved it!

Once Rob Lowe left the cast, I think it took a more serious turn and although I still watched it to the end, I wasn't as into it then. Which is funny, because that's when my husband got into it, instead of just putting up with it. Chat Icon

West Wing is one of my all time faves! I loved all the characters, I cried and cried when Leo died.

The writing & acting were exceptional!

Oh, I don't think I can begin to describe how much I cried when Leo died, and I got into the show after the fact. We actually own all of the seasons on DVD twice over. (I bought DH the boxset for Christmas -- I couldn't resist. (DH is a little sick of hearing it... even though he agrees Chat Icon )

Two of the best of the entire run, to be sure. When he whispers "What's next?" at the end, it killed me.

I wish Janel Maloney and Dule Hill had better careers after the show ended. I have a soft spot for both of them.

Remember when Mrs. Laningham died? That was another show that really choked me up.

Two Cathedrals -- DH's counterargument for when I start waxing poetic about In the Shadows of Two Gunmen -- and I can't even argue. That was also one of the best things I've ever seen on television. Her death on the show was incredibly sad, but the flashbacks in that episode were SO well done.

Oh, and I kind of fell in love with Charlie (well, all of them) at some point or other on the show. I think my favorite Charlie moment was from the Thanksgiving episode when the president gave him the knife that had belonged to his father, blacksmith? Paul Revere. Every time I watch that... DH and I both work for the Fed Gov't and we watched every single night. We don't have it all on dvd yet, but I'm sure we will.

I've been putting the complete DVD set on every birthday and Christmas list since it's been available but then always tell DH it's too expensive ... then regret I've said it!!!!

I LOVED THIS SHOW and really miss it.
