Sort of a big step (and a question for yas)

So DH was away all wkd so ofcourse we were happy to see each other Chat Icon

Anyway, as we were gonna "get it on" i said to him, "babe, ive missed 2 pills this month so...." and hes like" what does that mean?" and i said, "well im not 100% protected" and hes like "should i get a condom" and im like "im supposed to get my period tuesday so i think im ok"

So in other words, he didnt get a condom and he didnt pull out and when we were done hes like "well, i wonder if that led to anything" and i joked and said "we will find out in 9 months"
This is BIG for my DH!!!

Ok on to my question and im sorry if its a naive one but... if i did conceive tonite (which i doubt) then would i still get m yperiod this tues bc i can tell its right around the corner- sore boobs and all

If you are expecting your period on Tuesday, odds are you are way past your date of ovulation and your fertile period and you will not get pregnant. I am sure some have, but I have missed two and even three pills and have NEVER gotten pregnant.

If AF is Tuesday, there is slim to no chance that you were fertile today or that it could lead to pregnancy - you need at least 10 days between ovulation and your AF (or expected AF) for implantation.

But sounds like you might be contemplating throwing out those pills altogether

When you are ready to seriously TTC, I recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility. You will learn alot about your body and when you are most likely to conceive. The chances of conceiving while taking BCP are very slim. When you are ready to TTC, remember that you have to be off your BCP for a few months.
