Re: Sophie vs. Sophia
I would go with Sophia Grace. I have my own thought about it though (this was my, not dh's, top choice if we had a girl). The reason it was my tio choice is because Sophia means wisdom and I just thought that with the middle name it would be nice to think growing up my daughter would have widom and grace.
SO that's why I pick Sophia but if you want Sophie I see nothing wrong with it. However, I would prepare your daughter to forever in life get "is that short for sophia" because I really think she will get it a LOT

I love Sophie, its very classic. Although I know it isn't a modern name, Sophia is a bit modern for me.

Re: Sophie vs. Sophia
Let me start by saying I LOVE the same Sophie !! In fact.......it's my doggie's name. Even though her name is Sophie we call her Sophia too so I think the Sophie/Sophia thing can go either way. In terms of your middle and last name I really like the way Sophia Grace sounds. It's elegant and it flows nicely.

Re: Sophie vs. Sophia
I like Sophia better. Sophia Grace sounds beautiful. I don't automatically think of Sophie as a nickname, but it certainly can be used as one for Sophia.

Re: Sophie vs. Sophia
I prefer Sophia. You can always nickname her Sophie.
When she is an adult, sophie might sound too 'young'

I atually prefer Sophie over Sophia. I do not think of Sophie as a nickname. If my girlfriend didn't just name her baby girl Sophie that would be my top choice in a girls name!
I agree- i love sophie

Re: Sophie vs. Sophia
I don't necessarily think Sophie is a nickname. But I do happen to like Sophia better, and if I were to use the name Sophia I would call her Sophie as a nickname.
But I think Sophie is a name, not just a nickname!
