Sonograms; When
When do you get sonograms?
I know my 1st will be at 8 weeks but what about after that how often?

Every office is different. Mine is the following:
12 week ultrascreen scan
20 week Level II anatomy scan
32 week growth scan.
If you are over 35 in my office they do a sono every week after 36. If you have any issues they do them as well. They also do one on your due date or after if you go past your due date.

It is going to depend on the practice, you, and your baby.
My best friend had the NT scan at like 12 weeks, and then a 20 week sono and I think that was it!
I'm high risk, on the other hand, so I had sonos at 9 weeks, 13 weeks (NT scan), 18 weeks (fetal echo), 20 weeks (anatomy), and then growth sonos at 24, 28, 32, I go back at 36 and then weekly until the baby comes. So, I've had like a million sonos.
Ask your doctor at your appointment what their protocol is. Then it will depend on baby's growth and development as well as your body (for example, if you end up having GD they may end up doing growth sonos, if you end up with high blood pressure etc etc.)

Had the first one around 8 weeks, the NT scan around 12 weeks and my anatomy scan at 18 1/2 weeks... that was it!

Had my first at 9 weeks, nt scan at 12, anatomy scan at 20, growth sono at 27 and my last growth sono at 37. That should be it unless I go late. Then I'll have another at 40 or 41 weeks.

7 wks, 12 wks, 20 wks, 30 wks. Sometimes I get a quick one at a regular appt. depends on the doctor I guess.

39w- (growth)
As others have said.. it really depends on you, your doc, and your baby.

I had one at 8w to confirm, one at 12w for NT scan and one at 20w for anatomy scan. And that will most likely be it. My doctor doesn't do growth sonos. Last pregnancy, I had one at 32w because of something that came up at my 20w, but otherwise I wouldn't have had it.
