Sorry for this post ladies, I am not having the best day today. I had to get that out. I am having one of those "what if something goes wrong during my surgery" days. My cardiologist called today to arrange pre-op appointments (for my open heart surgery) with me and it is all feeling too real.

Thanks for the hugs, girls.
I just needed to write something to get it out you know? I am been "Mrs. Positive", pretty much this whole time and then for some reason this call set me off. Plus I have AF, so of course I am super emotional right now.

Totally normal. I had many days like that before my surgery. I called my surgeon and talked to him about it. It really helped.
I still talk to him..having a good relationship with your medical team makes a difference emotionally.
Hang in there. Things will be fine. Just think about when it's all over and how good you will feel when you're healed.
