Someone talk me down here

I was in the hospital in January for my gallbladder and while they were doing scan and sonos they made me aware of some ovarian cysts. Told me not to worry about them. Of course that month DH and I make the decision to start TTC #2. Then my period goes all haywire, I have it twice in like 3 weeks, the second time, was a light day heavy day, then spotting. Then it goes back to its normal schedule for Feb, but is so light, its like spotting, light day, spotting. This month it arrives on time, and is back to its normal flow and length.

At the rec of some of you girls, I made an appt with my Gyn to discuss the cysts, went this past Monday. I go back for a sono on the 11th. Im just a wreck that something is wrong, that there is going to be a fertility issue. She said its most likely the reason my period has been weird.

Im just a nervous wreck. We waited so long to try for #2, for the right time, and now Im just nervous there are going to be issues. I could cry.

Im temping this month to determine if Im actually Oing, so hopefully thatll ease my mind (unless of course my chart shows that I didnt).

We just got pregnant with DS so easily last time, and waited so long to try again, that Im afraid we waited too long, KWIM?

I dont know what Im looking for, I just needed to get that off my chest. Im sure the stressing isnt going to help anything either. I know it can be nothing, but what if its not?

I am no doctor, but I think there are many reasons why your period can get out of whack. I wouldn't automatically assume it is a fertility issue. I would just try to proceed as normal with temping and TTC and try not to worry about something that might or might not be.

ITA with the pp...just relax and dont assume the worst, even though I know it is hard for us girls sometimes. Stay positive and continue TTC until you get more info from your doctor

Just a thought, your period may have gone wacky from the surgery you had. I have heard of that happening. If it continues to be wacky I would get concerned but if it levels out I bet you will be ok!

Also with regards to the cysts, it depends on what kind they are and how big they are - but most cysts are pretty common. AND the good news is you can still ovulate even if you have a cyst. The month I got my bfp I ovulated out of the ovary I had a 4cm chocolate cyst on!

Hang in there and try not to think about it too much until you have more answers. I know that is hard and easier said than done!
