Someone created a registery under my name...update .
and wrote...I WANT I WANT I WANT...under the parent message. They got all my info right.
That is so not me...I want I want I want. I am upset.
***I just talked to the manager at BRU in Sayville and an associate. WOW! They were sooo nice and helpful. THey both felt so bad...they thought it might be someone who is jealous.
They were not able to give me the email address...but the street NAME...and it SAID...they lived in my town...but the address was bogas...no such street.
They are going to take the registery down as soon as possible. They can do it instantly they said. I am going to check the registery daily to make sure it does not happen again.
Some people are sicko!

I called the 800 number at the bottom of the registery...and they said it would take 5-7 days to remove it. ***...
So I asked if the local babies r us could remove it....and she said yes....
So Im on hold with the manager now...She is soooo nice...and she said it sounds like someone is a little jealous.
I know it sounds stupid...but this makes me upset.

I only have about 4 things in my registery...so I doubt people looked already? then again, someone created a fake one!

I am really sorry that happened to you. Odds are, it was someone who is close to you and jealous. I wonder if BBB can trace it somehow through an IP address. Would be interesting to see if it was created online.
When I was getting married, someone called Fortunoff saying they purchased close to $3,000 worth of merchandise that I had registered for at Fortunoff (but bought elsewhere) and kindly asked that Fortunoff take the items off my registry so I "wouldn't get doubles." All they did was give a "corporate name" which was whom my DH worked for but not a regular contact name. Sure we got a corporate gift from DH's company, but it was a crystal bowl worth maybe $50. In other words, someone tried to sabotage our registry. IDIOTS.
