so, who is ...
actively TTC? 
We are thinking about it in the next few months but I am scared about timing! We have a great house and great jobs but should I need to take an extended leave from work, things wont be as easy for us financially 
What are some goals you have before ttc?
Everyone keeps telling me that unless you are RICH, you are never financially ready, but still, im scared 
GL to those TTC

our goals are to SAVE, SAVE, SAVE!
finish painting and furnishing the house!

i think next year but who knows....i want to be in a house that is fully furnished before we start trying....b/c i know that once you have a baby all the $$ goes to them

Like even now when I was pretty late - I FREAKED out crying on the bathroom floor. . .and even DH who doesn't want kids was like "you know we are married now, its okay"

As much as we would love to now its just not the right time...Our main goal right now is getting that House!This summer we are house searching...Im not taking any contraceptives we are using the "pull-out" method (sorry TMI) lol...but if it happens I will be very excited!
I cant wait to start already!

oh yeah he would have freaked out AFTER but he found me crumpled up on the bathroom floor having a freak out so he was trying to be nice for a few minutes!!

i hear that - my SIL just had her 2nd in march - so that makes us get the itch real bad and seeing how great my DH is with his nephew and niece makes my heart melt - i know he'll be an awesome dad - he doesn't just play with them - he is a pretty involved uncle - feeding, burping, dressing, - he is a natural - i tease him and call him the baby whisperer , sometimes i think he handles the kids better than i do....
so all those things make me excited for our turn, but i know we arent ready yet - not until we have some other things in order first!
that would be great for you though - you and your sisters kid would be so close in age! that would be awesome!

I really want to -- but until we decide when / where we are moving and have jobs there, i cannot. i don't think dh is ready yet anyhow. hopefully next spring we will start.
