I'm working on the office and dining room right now. I want to upgrade some of the furniture in the office, repaint the dining room, buy a larger table and chandelier, and finally get a china closet.

we are going to be putting in a gas fireplace in our living room, i think.
we just did kitchen, new dining room furniture, and all new molding upstairs. now i want to do the fireplace and then we will paint all of the rooms.

well our first will be the living room 
we're going to completely gut it, put up new walls, update electric, all new furniture, all new window treatments, etc.
next year will be the kitchen

We built our home 2 years ago and still lots to do. Every year we come up with a punch list. I don't think we will ever be finished. This years agenda is:
1- repaint and wainscoting in the 1/2 bath
2- repaint formal living room, paint windows and sliding door and window treatments
3- decide on backsplash for kitchen
4- moulding work/ wainscoting for entryway and dining room.
5- backyard landscaping

basement!
we are in a split, so its really the first level that we call the basement. but when we moved in (2yrs ago) DH ripped down the paneling and found the walls had no insulation. so we re0insulated and sheetrocked down there and now we need to have someone come and tape and spackle it so we can get moving. it has been just sheet rock for almost 2 yrs now and it is driving me crazy!! it is so much wasted living space!

Our bedroom closets are getting a facelift. We're knocking down some walls and creating walk-in closets using space from the eaves. I can't wait!!!

The list is long in our new house but since we just did the kitchen/family room, floors and paint our budget is done for the year. We will do some stuff outside in the spring. Next year baths, walkway and driveway.

My parents recently redid their one and only bathroom - so it is possible. They were without a toilet for one night so they stayed at a hotel. For showering, my dad and siblings showered at the gym after they worked out. My mom made it work - she showered early Monday morning and then showered Wednesday afternooon and Thursday morning at the hotel and on Friday night, she was able to use the shower at home again.

we closed on 12/30 and we have been working every weekend
we gutted the kitchen and will hopefully order the Cabinets this weekend.
we are painting and flooring
hall
master bed and bath (took wall paper down)
dining room
living room
office
. . . . and trying to figure out what to do with the stairs
I've been taking photos - I will have to post once I have some after's

We just gutted the last bathroom in our house yesterday. It's a 5x8 full bath and we aren't changing the layout so it should go pretty fast.
The wood floors on our entire second floor are getting finished in a week or so, we need to get everything out of every room so it's a total PITA.
We just finished painting, putting up new light fixtures and blinds and buying furniture for our vacation place and now we're toying with doing the kitchen.
