Excited and nervous about the latest home project!
When we first moved in (Sept 2006) we focused on the inside of the house. There are still a ton of projects that we have for the inside but we decided to take a break. In the meanwhile (i thought we were done for a while) DH is on a kick to work on the outside. So we are having 4 trees taken down, the driveway re-done, concrete around the entire house and a new brink stair entry.

Sounds like a lot of changes. Be sure to take before and after pics I would love to see the difference.

Awesome! Before you hire a company - the town charges $350 per tree if its near the curb (if you write a letter).
Definitely takes those before, during and after shots for us to see. We want to make our driveway a two car one and redo the walkup and the stairs (right now yucky cracked cement). Great idea to do all the outside stuff first while you have a newborn inside :) ;)

Thanks! DH called the town since we need so many permits for the work. They have a waiting list for tree removal so we are just going to have someone come over to do it so we can move forward with the cement work. So much to think of  Having the town do it would have been great.
