I know that when I get pregnant again I will be a nervous wreck-having a miscarriage does that to you. However, you can't let it consume you-you can't live that way. Being pregnant is supposed to be a joyous time-and that should be the focus.

yup i definitely get scared when i see it on here so much. i feel like we started 2009 so strong with all the bfp's but now, later in the month, it just feels like no more bfp's and all bad news. what happened?

There is no way to prepare for a m/c, and while you always know it could happen you never REALLY think it will. It is a horrible expereince and I wish it on nobody, but because of LIF it made what was an unbareble experience a tad bit easier because of the support. I will always remeber what could have been and I will be hyperaware of another m/c when we do get pg again, but don't let it scare you to much. Even though I know how it ended I wouldn't trade those 10weeks for anything, and I always knew it could happen, but I never let it effect me. I look at it like this.......We never know how many "chances" or pregnancies/babies we will have so I did not want to go through my pregnancy scraed. I wanted to relish it and embrace it. ITA! Unfortunately the first step in this process is getting the BFP - then we just have to sit and pray for a healthy baby. I've seen wayyy too much loss lately and it scares the hell out of me. The only thing I can say as a parent is that the worrying truly begins the second you pee on a stick and it never ever ends.

First you worry about each sonogram and week as it goes by, you pray that the baby is healthy and every week gets you closer to a "safe point"
Then you worry about the labor and delivery.
Then you worry about SIDS
Then about them getting hurt or sick
The worrying goes on and on.

There is not a day that I don't worry about my sons future and pray that he is ok. It's so scary and depressing that this is the world we live in. The only thing that keeps me from losing my mind is to know that there is a reason for everything that happens and unfortunately it's all out of our control.
