that it will never happen for us. I am so dissappointed after 8 cycles, I am losing hope that it will happen for us.

Don't give up - there are people that have been successful after trying for longer than 8 months. And there are fertility treatment options after you've been trying for a year (if you're under 35, after 6 months if you're over that age).

Only a percentage of couples get pregnant in the first 6 months of trying.

What methods have you been trying so far?

All you can do is take it one day at a time, once cycle at a time.

You are right... it's not fair. Really not fair that certain people get preggo on the 1st or 2nd try & others take months of pain-staking trying & kits...and then meds...or more.

Make a date after which you should consider seeking some help (RE after about 1 yr)...hopefully, you won't get there....

It made me feel a LOT better (I'm in this longer than you & totally hear ya).

I have tryed OPK, CBEFM, Tempt, CM.
It is just taking us longer than most. I didnt expect it to happen right away, but now after all the disappointments I feel like it will never happen. I am going to see an RE probably end of Sept.

dont give up. I am in the same boat. Sometimes it kills me that for some its nothing but a breeze and for me not so easy. I do know that the more thought you put in and stress the harder it is. I agree make a date to see your doc and then make a plan to check things. It may be something simple. My SIL went to a nutritionist that helped her sister preg.

It will happen don't give up hope. We tried for 10months. Went to a RE and he said my husbands count was low. We were planning on trying a medicated IUI as soon as my period came but it never came. I got my BFP. So no need for the IUI.

It can happen.

It took us 10 months of actively trying and an IUI to get pregnant this time. First time with DS only took 3 months, and technically only 1 since I got pregnant the first month I used OPK. So don't give up. And if you're concerned, go see your Dr. I went to see mine after only 6 months because I felt like something just wasn't right. And I was right. DH's counts were on the low side. I would have hated to try unsuccessfully for another 6 months before discovering there was a problem.

This whole process is frustrating and draining. I just had a pregnancy end; Im sad, angry and beyond all FRUSTRATED that I have to start all over again. This was my first pregnancy

Im finding it VERY hard to move on but we all just have to stay positive. This WILL happen for us. I dont know how long it will take for for me to get pregnant again but nothing will make me give up; not fear and not frustration. I want to be a mother and I will be a mother.

Stay strong; I feel your frustration but try to hang in there. It will be worth it in the end
