 | Re: So Many New Faces: Time for Intros Hi everyone. My name is Lisa. DH and I are both in our 30's. We're dealing with severe male factor IF. Had my first medicated IUI on 6/1 and now I'm nearing the end of my 2WW and I'm also a few days late for AF but still too nervous to test. |

 | Re: So Many New Faces: Time for Intros Hi all! I just turned 37, DH is 41. We have been married for nearly 3 years and have been trying since 2/07. Saw RE in Oct 2007 and have done 3 IUIs with cliomid. Diagnosed with PCOS for which I am taking metformin. Slightly Hypoactive Thyroid...taking synthroid. Was scheduled to start IVF cycle back in February but my body decided not to cooperate and we decided to take a break till my body got back on track. Currently in the middle of my first IVF cycle with scheuduled ER on Fathers Day!
Here lot of baby dust for everyone!

 | Re: So Many New Faces: Time for Intros Hi,I am 24 and DH is 33
DH and I have been trying for 16 months. I have PCOS and what my RE calls secondary infertility. We have a 5 year old DS that we conceived naturally.

I finished my first round of Clomid last week. Everything looked great at my CD 12 sono and my other apt. So we are hoping for a "re-productive" month.

 | Re: So Many New Faces: Time for Intros Hi I'm Donna!! DH and I are both 34. We got married in Sept. 07. We have been ttc since August. I had a laparoscopy last May for endo. which ended up to be severe (according to my doctor). My doctor suggested that we begin trying right away. Anyway, I also have PCOS. Been on Metformin 1500mg. since Dec., did 4 months of Clomid. 2 IUI's and nothing. I go to East Coast Fertility and see Dr. Kreiner. I am in the process of going through IVF. I begin my injections on Sat. I am very excited and hope for the best. Good Luck to all!! |

Have been trying for over four years.
Ten IUI cycles @ RSNY, 2 of which were cancelled due to OHSS.
Switched RE's, found out tubes were blocked
and moved on to IVF. Did two fresh IVF cycles and 6 FET's with LI-IVF, got PG in November 2007 and lost Rogan due to incompetent cervix in March 2008.
Am about to start another FET cycle, we are going to use up the embies we have and then decide about a fresh IVF cycle which both DH and Dr. are not keen on doing.

 | Re: So Many New Faces: Time for Intros DH and I are both 29....I have no eggs. Will need IVF via Donor Eggs. We have been married since Sept so we are still trying enjoy eachother before going into the depths of DE and IVF.....I am a hugely emotional person and i am very hard on myself and what i cannot give to my husband. So its best for us to wait until we've had therapy and are well-prepared for the journey.
Much love and luck to all....This is a very difficult thing and its so important to have places like this to turn to where people DO understand....

 Married 10 years

after one year trying, dx of MF and consult with RE we were lucky enough to find out 5 days later we were PG and blessed with a DS who is now 5 1/2

Been TTC #2 for 4 years. Several failed IUI's. 4 failed IVF cycles despite "perfect" embryos, 1 failed FET and 1 chemical after FET.

I cant take the disappointment one more time, so we are moving onto adoption in hopes of completing our family.

Good luck to everyone dealing with this painful journey

 | Re: So Many New Faces: Time for Intros Hi. I'm Jen, 33. DH, 36. Married 3 years.
Started TTC 2.5 years ago. Got pregnant naturally the month we first started IF testing, but it was ectopic, caused by a grapefruit sized (9cm) ovarian cyst. In February 2007, I had laparoscopic surgery to end my pregnancy, remove the cyst and my right tube. I was 9.5 weeks pregnant and am lucky to have escaped with my life.

***Current status deleted to protect privacy.***

Originally diagnosed with PCOS, but the pregnancy cleared it and it stayed away. Dealing with 1 tube and MF.

(I will delete part of this post in a day or two, since I have friends on LIF that know and search under my screen name and I don't want them to know about my current status.)

 Good luck to all!

 | Re: So Many New Faces: Time for Intros I'm 30, DH is 31TTC for 2 1/2 years
 I have PCOS
Conceived twin boys after 5th IUI (injectable cycle). Lost my babies as I approached my 6 month of pregnancy
Dr could not determine if it was an Incompetent Cervix, complications due to twins, or an undetectable infection.
Not sure where we'll go from here. Dr. wants me to wait six months before returning to IF treatment

We have been dealing with MF Infertility, except now the testing has to go further. I have suffered 2 miscarriages at 10 weeks plus from IUI's with clomid.

I am starting again with Dr. K as soon as my body can go back to normal after my D&C tomorrow.

It is such a hard process....
