So mad... (Sorry long vent)
I came home to find a message on my answering machine telling me that my ultrascreen test has been bumped. It was scheduled for this Friday at 3:30. The office only does u/s until 3:30 which is a problem in itself because my school doesn't dismiss until 3:30. So I got permisiion from my principal to get coverage and she is letting me leave at 3:00 to get there on time.
Now this will be my first u/s for this pregnancy too. I will be 11w 6d on Friday. So now I call as soon as I get the message. The clock says 4:56 but they are already closed and the emergency service picks up. AHHHH!!! Being that this is a time sensitive test they better be able to get me in soon, and I'd better get another 3:30 appt because if I don't I'll have to take a day of work and I'm saving those for the baby.
Sorry this is so long but I'm just so upset. Now it's going to be longer until I see my little shmoo.

You should explain your situation so they make SURE you are seen no matter what time you get there. There's no room to play with timing issues when it comes to leaving work early for stuff like that.

Mine is not till my 13th week at thats with a high risk Dr, so I wouldnt worry with the timing , you still have time

Well I called today and they said they had to reschedule me because they are down 3 techs. The next date they have for me would be Monday the 6th which is fne but it's at 11:00 am. So now I have to take a full day off. And my husband took off today to be with my DS for his Preschool party so h can't take off on Monday now, so he'l miss the first sono.
Being that it is at 11:00 i can't even take a 1/2 day because it falls in the middle of the hours that I could take. God forbid they are backed up and I don't get back o work in time I'll be in trouble.
I told them problem and they are more worried about me having the test. Whatever, I guess I'll just focus on the fact that I'll be able to see my little shmoo on Monday.
