I'm a doof -- I thought there must have been another pic that was supposed to be at the top of the post that wasn't her tattoo---that didn't show up ... and that the one posted WAS her tattoo...

ok heres a butt load i just took.
the more i see it the more i HATE it.
im def getting it changed. i hate the rose and i hate the colors. i wanted bright pink, not salmon and yellow
anyway, here they are, ignore my face in them. im sweating bullets.

I agree.. the colors are not what you wanted at all and its wayyyy to many leaves IMO

I like the colors of the one you showed him, but I like your tattoo better than the other one. It's really pretty. If you aren't happy with it, definitely go back and make them fix it!

maybe make the part that is already pink a more deep pink and go over the yellow with either a light pink or even darker pink - almost red

Why would he do that when it looks nothing like the pic you brought him? I would def. go back tomorrow so he can get it closer to what you wanted.

i HATE the yellow. i HATE it. i was in shoc when i looked down and saw he did that.
i THINK what i am going to do (once i save up $$$ all over again and it heals) is im gonna go and have the yellow changed to purple or dark pink, have hearts and dots added, and see if they change maybe change the rose around alittle bit. if they use purple, i cant see why they cant fix it up. i just want it to look more like an open rose with less petals.

I really like the swirly whispy part of it. I think you can easily get the color fixed - but I would get them to do it at no charge because you are not happy with it.

lol i like the swirly part too, that was the part i actually made him CHANGE! it was different.
im so friggen shy when it comes to that kind of stuff. i didnt want to offend him.
but then he did the colors without asking and im all in all unhappy with the whole thing.
its my own fault for not speaking up, so i dont think i will go to him to have it fixed.
then again, he DID ask me to come by when it heals so he can take a pic. maybe i'll do that and be like,
actually, i want to make some changes, can we make another appointment?"
this way it wont seem so bitchy.

Honestly - I think you need to call him up tomorrow and tell him that it is not what you expected, and that once you heal you will be back and want him to make it look closer to the pic you gave him. This is permanent - you need to love it - so DO NOT feel bad at all.

But I agree that the rose is way too big and the yellow is just strange...I am thinking of those yellow roses that my dad gets my mom that are orange on the tips .... but that obviously wasn't what you were going for...
Would you get the leaves changed? So that there weren't so many of them?
I've never been scared to get a tattoo...the one I got was so simple so it never even dawned on me how bad it would be if someone messed it up.
I am sorry that it wasn't exactly what you wanted Jess...it should have been...
