So frustrating!- yet another update at bottom!
So on Sunday I was getting major cramps. I thought for sure they were AF cramps. Didn't get some spotting until early that evening and didn't even put on a pantiliner. Next day, put on a pantiliner and spot some more, enough to leave something on there. Today I thought for sure my temp would drop down again and AF would be here. But no, more spotting!!! And on top of that the temp went up?
Ugh, I know no one probably has any answers for me. I guess tomorrow will tell me more. According to the chart I'm 12dpo, but I could also technically be 14dpo based on temps. I refuse to waste a test until I see what tomorrow brings.

Update- temp stayed at 98.7 again today. Went to go test but wiped first to check for blood and just saw brown. POAS then wiped to see more spotting/light bleeding again. Thought to myself AF must be coming today. See a BFN and chuck it but can't help but pull it out a little after to take a closer look. Im crazy but if I turn it into the light the right way I swear I see the faintest of faint lines. Guess I'm still in the waiting game. Not feeling so great about this spotting though. Very confused! I really thought my temp would drop. I'll have to wait another 2 days to test I guess and see what happens.

seriously... take a picture of your test, and post it on fertility friend - they have an inverse colors feature which really helps when you're dealing with a faint line, makes it so much easier to see!

Thanks! I took a pic and inverted the colors in paint. Didn't see it. I may just be going crazy!!! It really shouldn't be this hard, but I obsess over things. Having a snow day and being stuck at home sure doesn't help me either. I need to go throw the test in the dumpster so I can't look at it anymore! <--- this reminds me of me going back and forth with, I see a line...nah....i see a line...no you're crazy...i see a line.....

I feel your pain -- i am in the same situation (I don't temp so don't know my chart like that) but started spotting on monday -- i never spot. took a test monday night BFN, a little bit more spotting on tues, still no AF... just a little bit of brown spotting.

it is frustrating!! if your temps stay elevated i think you will get your BFP...in a day or two you should see something happen...
still hoping you dont get AF!!

Update...again!
This morning the temp went down .2 degrees. I thought ok, AF is coming today. At this point I just want answers so I wasn't too upset about it. Went to the bathroom and more spotting. Went to work and spotting again so I thought let me put on a pad just incase since I can't get to the bathroom again until lunch. Ugh, I haven't filled a pad or pantyliner. Definitely leaving something behind, but it's not like a period at all! I just got home and I'm still spotting, but noticed a stringy piece of brown something floating to the bottom of the toilet. What was that? It was very thin and I'd say about 2 inches long. Was that a piece of tissue? Am I having a chemical or something? I feel so confused this cycle. Image Attachment(s):

Not today, just yesterday and after throwing it out thought I saw the faintest of faint lines. When I woke up and saw it drop .2 degrees I didn't test. I guess I will test tomorrow if my temp still doesn't drop. This is just really annoying me now. I've never had a light period before. Maybe that's what it is, but I would think my temps would go down.

youre only 14DPO so it SOUNDS like its just impending AF with a slow drop of progesterone.
it doesnt really sound like a chemical. spotting really has nothing to do with a chemical. if you dont get full AF for a few more days and all BFN then call your doctor and see if you can go in for bloodwork cause if you have a VERY low beta that would only show on in bloodwork. but right now it doesnt sound like a chemical.
