So excited.....I think
So I found out last night that our best friends are on the TTC plan too- my question though is once one of us gets pregnant how do we tell the person- I dont want her to think something is wrong with her or me if the situation is reversed. I already know its gonna be a happy/sad time
ETA: I meant "why not me" sense of something is wrong with them-I didnt mean it the way it came out

OH MY GOD, this is my thought too!! We have several couple friends that are TTC at the same time and even though I will be over-the-moon happy for them if they are pregnant and we are not, I'm still going to feel a twinge of sadness for us. If we tell that we are pregnant first, I am hoping beyond hope that they are also pregnant but maybe just not 12 weeks yet and so keeping quiet. If not, I guess I'll try to be sensitive about it and make sure I say that I'm sure their time will come soon.
I'm curious to see other responses to this question.

Why would someone think there is something wrong with them?
Every person is different and it can take some people one month to pregnant and can take others many years. Some people will just BD and get pregnant, while others might need IVF or other kinds of medical support.
If you are all in this together, I think it can be a great experience to have someone who understands what you are going through.
Yes, there may be some jealousy or envy - but I think that is natural.
Why not discuss this with your friends? Maybe you can decide what would make each of you comfortable regarding when to tell the other friends if/when you are pregnant.

I went through this. We are friends with a couple who went through everything to get pregnant.
I was sooooo nervous to tell them.
DH just kept encouraging me that they will be happy for us and we can't "hold off" on our lives.
Turns out they were SO EXCITED for us and I was so relieved to "Get it off my chest".
Well, I got Pregnant in May and she announced a few months later she was pregnant.
Our DCs are 3 months apart
It all works out.
