so Annoying!
So I had my first I.U.I...and got a BFN...
anyway now I have AF and my Dr. said to see him while I have it.. so I called today and he is on vacation until the middle of JAN!!
So the receptionist says "Come in tomorrow for sono and blood work" I said O.k. so what Dr. will I be seeing? She says "none" the Dr. that is filling in will give you a call in the afternoon after he reads your results. So I say, Oh ok. But what about my rx for clomid? she says "he will call it in"
I know its not a big deal...but I did want to talk to my Dr. or a Dr. about my failed I.U.I!!!!!!
now on to month two I guess with a Dr. I don't know!

I know it's frustrating but I'm sure you're in good hands. Does he not have a NP that works with him?
I rarely see my doc but usually the team of nurses I've been assigned to.

totally understand your frustration, but it sounds as if they're still going ahead with a protocol and you'll be under the care/review of a dr anyway until yours gets back. You'll still be in good hands!
when your dr gets back you can discuss the failed iui with him, but to be honest, there's not a lot he'd say right now as to why it failed that another dr can't do just as well by looking at your chart.

 At least they have some sort of plan for dealing with the other doctor's absence! I would insist on talking to the doctor who IS there and reviews your sono, etc. rather than just having him call in the Clomid.

I totally understand your frustration. But at least there is another doctor available to you, hopefully he can give you all the answers you deserve. Lots of  for next month !!!!

Thanks Ladies... I was so upset earlier...I think I need to relax!
