Snugride 30 vs Sugride 32?
Hey ladies... could you possibly tell me what the difference is between these 2?
Also, is the Snugride 35 base the one to use with either???

the 30 goes up to 30 lbs and the 32 up to 32 lbs
get the 30!!!!! they are so heavy your baby will never be in there for that long!!
and yes you can use that base for both

The previous poster is spot on. the Snugride 22 is for 22 pounds, and Snugride 35 is for up to 35 pounds. The height limitations may be different on each as well.
I opted for the 22 based on BTDT moms recommendations- they said once the baby hits 22 pounds, there is no way you are carrying them and the seat anyway.

Ok great! Most of the travel systems seem to come with the 30 or 32 so I was curious which was better.
Did you go with a travel system?

PP is correct and I would go with the lighter one. I have the 32 and had to stop using it when DS was around 7-8 months old because it got way too heavy to carry around! DS wasn't even anywhere NEAR the 32lb limit when I switched to the convertible seat... heck, he is almost 18 months and STILL not 32lbs.
As far as the travel system goes, I didn't get one. Every BTDT mom I spoke to hated theirs, complained it was too heavy. I got the Snap-N-Go and a Maclaren umbrella stroller instead. I LOVED the Snap-n-Go....it was so convenient, super light, and had a really big basket for storage.

I agree with snugride 22 as well. BTDT mamas recommended that one and the one I got was almost half the price of the 30/35

Just wanted to jump in and add that I am also a snap-n-go fan! I didn't have one with DD, had a travel system that I ended up being really not crazy about at all. It gets tiring lugging that thing into your car trunk when you have a ton of errands to run in a day.
I borrowed a snap-n-go from my sister for the little girl I babysit for. She is 3 now, but we started watching her when she was 6 weeks old. The snap n go was GREAT....super light weight, the basket was large and easily accessable, and there was an accessory tray on the top.
I will do the same with the new baby, and will get a good quality umbrella stroller like a Maclaren or something similar, when the baby is old enough for it.

DS is 12.5 months and is 19lbs. We got the Graco snugride 22. We didn't go anywhere near the weight limit. We took him out of the infant seat at 5 months because he HATED IT, screamed the entire car ride. Made the switch, in the middle of winter which sucked, but made the car ride much more sane. I used the snap and go, the Jeep Universal one which I loved because of the real rubber tires, not the plastic ones like the Graco and Baby Trend, had a large basket under and easy reachable, and the Jeep Snap and Go was higher up so you don't have to bend down to push. Also had 2 cup holders and a spot for keys and stuff and cheaper than the Graco and Baby Trend.
I also have 2 other strollers. My everyday is the Maclaren Techno. It's an amazing umbrella stroller and got a used one on Craigslist for an amazing price.
For walking and jogging, I have the Jeep Overland which I got on clearance at BRU. Love all the storage and cup holders but it's a beast so I wouldn't use it at the mall or store.

As far as the snap and go, is it only used with the carseat, and once the baby doesnt use the infant car seat, you cant use it as a stroller anymore? Im not sure how it works

yes the snap and go is only used with the infant seat. we didnt get one with #1 and i dont think we will get one for the twins but im not sure yet. we had a travel system with #1 and found it really easy to use. we still use the stroller to this day
