Snow related: Anyone else wondering...

...where you're going to put all the snow if we really do get slammed on Wed.? My driveway and walkways already have 4 ft. walls of snow around them! When it comes time to shovel we're not going to have anywhere to put it!

Re: Snow related: Anyone else wondering...

Yeah! I was already running out of room when I had to shovel the other day! I don't think I can lift the shovel much higher to get on top of the mound on my front lawn!

Dh said the same thing before when we pulled in the driveway. We already have mounds on either side of the driveway.

I definitely see these huge snow mounds (like in the mall parking lots) being around in May....

Hopefully NOT! If it rains following a heavy snow we'll have flooded street, basements, and the wet snow increases the likelihood of roof collapses too - we definately don't need rain coming right on the heels of snow.

I don't know and I don't care because I am free of snow removal come Tuesday morning. I'm having shoulder surgery so I get out of snow duty the rest of winter! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Since this post has nothing to do with HOW to get out of the snow, but WHERE to put it, we appreciate your input.

Re: Snow related: Anyone else wondering...

I intentionally pushed the snow far onto the yard with my plow, so I still have room for one more big storm. After that, though, I'm in trouble... With the plow, you can't go higher, since I'm just pushing the snow, not lifting it or throwing it.

It's going to be like last year. The parking lots will have 10 ft tall mounds everywhere and it won't melt before April or May.
