Ditto, completely understand!

DH and I tippy toe if we're near the nursery 'cus DS is such a light sleeper.

It's so hard to get him to sleep that we don't want to waste it by waking him up and starting the putting him to bed cycle again!

And when we put him in the crib, we're also very gentle about it so he doesn't wake up! :P

LOL...I always say i'm scared of my own child. Xavier is such a horrible sleeper that everytime he falls asleep i'm scared to make a decision on where to put him. The bassinet...pnp...crib...bed...swing...bouncy...I debate this for about 10 minutes each time. I always ask Danny what he thinks so it's not my fault he wakes up right away...lol.

I still get anxiety when its time for bed because you never know what the night is gonna bring.

Most of the times when i have to go to the bathroom at night i dont and just hold it in because Im scared that my creeky floors will wake him.

interesting....i had HIGH anxiety over this too. especially in the early early weeks. i would constantly worry about DS's sleeping habits and worry what if he wasn't a good sleeper etc! i have white noise going in their rooms so we won't wake them or they won't wake each other etc. i know it is b/c for me the sleep deprivation worsened my PPD feelings. i had such a hard time with it. unfortunately i let the worry about the sleep thing take over too much and things worked out fine. i would need to remember next time (if i ever had another child) that eventually they do learn to sleep and things do get better! but i'm done!

I'm the same way at night though.

During the day I keep everything as normal as possible. Lights, noises etc. At night everything is quiet and dark. I want him to recognize the difference btw day and night.
