growing up, I thought it was bullying. I always felt bad thinking that some kid couldn't get his shoes....ahhhh naivety!!

I used to see shoes on the power lines when I was a kid (grew up on LI) but I never heard that it had anything to do with drugs or gangs. This is the first I'm hearing about this.

I thought it was just something that kids do to be annoying.

I always used to see the click-clack ball toys on the wires too.



OMG me too!! i thought of them when i opened this page but didn't know the name-SO glad you posted this. gave me a good laugh.
i also think of it as a 70's thing. the click clacks were all over the place where i lived Chat Icon

LOL Wow yes. I remember being in a kid and seeing this. I never knew what it meant but just wondered if it was kids trying to see who could loop it up on the wire.
