Slings??

Anyone have one? How do you like it? Is it worth the money? What one do you have?

I was thinking of buying one for this baby and then I heard a horror story today from a mom who was carrying her 3 month old in one and the plastic clip broke and the baby fell and fractured her skull. The baby is 8 months now and fine but it still scared the Sh-t out of me.

I have 2 different ones. One pouch sling (bought it from slinglings.com ) another from Mei Tei Baby . Totally worth the money. DS loves being in them too.

I recommend this site for newbie sling users. You can usually get a sling for about $20 on their sale page and they have instructions you can print out. I really like the pouch slings. You get it made to fit your size, it tells you where to measure.

I really like my Ergo carrier. I like that I can carry the kids piggy back in it. It is the best thing when we travel and I have to get through the airport!

I have a sling and a wrap and I love them both. They take a little practice -- the sling is easier for beginners. To me, they're totally worth the price.
