Sleep help - earlier and earlier wake time?
DS is 7.5 months old. He has been STTN well for the past few weeks, since we started a strict bedtime routine. He gets tired early and goes to sleep at 6:15 pm usually. He was getting up for the day at around 5:30 am for a while. Recently, he has started to get up earlier and earlier. 15 minutes here and there, until this morning when he was totally up for the day at 4:00 am!
He was always an early to bed/early riser, but this is getting out of hand! Anyone have any experience with this or advice? My first inclination is to do CIO and not go in to get him until a semi-normal time (5:45/6), but DH doesn't agree. DS seems completely awake, so I'm not sure what to do. Help!

Re: Sleep help - earlier and earlier wake time?
When I did CIO with my boys they were going to bed by 6:15-6:30. Then my one son was waking up at 4:30-5. I was not going to tolerate that. We would let him cry for a little bit and then go in and get him. I then read in one of my many sleep books to let the baby cry until at least 6am and then go in and make a big deal. Open the curtains, say good morning, etc. We actually don't go in b4 7am. we followed that plan and now my boys both sleep until 7-7:30.

Re: Sleep help - earlier and earlier wake time?
It didn't take that long. I think about 3-4 days. We also open his curtain a little so he knows when it is light out. We always made sure for it to be light out b4 going in. I really think that is what helped.
