Similac Advance vs With Early Shield
Is there a difference? We just got our hands on a boat load of "regular" Similac Advance, but what we've been giving Jakey is Advance with Early Shiled...is there a difference, or is it just new/update marketing scheme and packaging?

I agree - there is a difference and sometimes baby take time adjusting to the change. We were using regular Similac and then switched to Early Shield and it took a few weeks for DS to adjust. I thought it was the same, just new packaging but I went online and saw there are differences.

I have been using both because we also recvd a enormous amount of both the Advance and Early Shield. There are differences but they are slight.
DD has been going back and forth just fine.

Re: Similac Advance vs With Early Shield
I think the Early Shield has extra DHA or something. As long as your baby is taking to both, there's no problem going back and forth. Free formula rules - so use em!!
