Silly question about drop ins

OK DD had to be on the RTF formula because the powder made her too gassy. So I had to make the bottles ahead of time and refrigerate. She would drink it cold, but that made her gassy so I always had to run it under warm water for a few minutes to get the chill off.

How do you do this with a drop in?

Re: Silly question about drop ins

I would put the drop-in in a tall tupperware and run it under lukewarm water for a couple of minutes to take the chill out when he was first born. Luckily...he has always pretty much taken them cold.

Re: Silly question about drop ins

I've actually been doing it a completely different way that seems to work for us. I put a cap on it ... one of the storage caps it doesn't have a nipple. I turn the bottle over upside down and place it in my sink on the cap and run hot water directlly over it right onto the drop in for like 2-3 minutes. Then I turn it over take off the cap and put on the nipple. It works well for us. FM me if you have any questions.

Re: Silly question about drop ins

You could just prepare the bottles and put the whole bottle in cup in the sink to warm right?

Re: Silly question about drop ins

I always just used to hold them upside down (with the caps on) and run them under hot water to take the chill out..
