Shower timing

I know, hard to predict but what's a good timeframe for baby shower? From past experience or anticipated "comfort" what is the range of length of weeks in pregnancy that the shower should take place?

I think two months before the due date is good.

My shower is next Saturday, when I will be 30 weeks. I didn't want it anytime after 34 weeks because I knew I'd be uncomfortable and miserable. I've had some complications with my pregnancy so figured 30 weeks would be perfect for me.

I had mine at 34 weeks. If I could have chosen I would have done a week or two earlier.

Mine is this Saturday and i am 33 weeks, my friend who is due a week before me had hers last weekend so we both went with the same timeframe!

I was almost 33 weeks at mine. I felt great but was tired at the end!

I'll be 33 weeks...it was a little later than I wanted but I have to travel across the country for it so that's when we could work it out.

I had mine at 32 weeks. My back started to hurt towards the end but it was good timing.

I was about 35 weeks when I had mine.

My friend had hers about 2 months before and I remember thinking it was so early... and then Hurricane Sandy and all the blackouts and everything happened. You just never know!

I will be having mine the day I turn 34 weeks.

I too would have liked it sooner but 1/2 my family is going on vaca for 2 weeks in July so I didn't have much choice between that and 4th of July weekend.

Mine is not this saturday but next and I will be almost 30 weeks. I think its great timing becuause although I am still able to get stuff done, I am getting slower by the day

I was 31 weeks when I had mine. It was perfect timing for me. I didn't really want it any later, just in case.

Mine was at 29 weeks and I never made it. YOu never know so I say just go ahead and pic a godd time scheduling wise.

Mine was this past weekend..I just turned 34 weeks today... I felt very good during my shower BUT Monday and Tuesday I did not feel good...

I am better today so in hindsight it would of probably been better a few weeks earlier like between 30- 32 weeks.....but everyone is different..

Mine is this weekend, when I'll be 36 weeks. I wanted it a lot sooner, (in March), but one side of the family wouldn't drive down from upstate before April because of the chance of snow. I'm exhausted and tired as it is & know it's going to be a realllllllyyyy lonnnnggg day!

my mom is having a sprinkle for me, and i will be around 30 weeks.
With DS i had my shower at 27 weeks b/c i was on bedrest,and we werent sure when he was going to show!

For DD my shower was at 30 weeks.

Like OP have mentioned 8-10 weeks prior to your due date is appropriate.

My girlfriends are throwing me a Sprinkle 2 weeks from Saturday, I will be 31 weeks :)
