All I know is anything that can leak is going in a zip lock bag!  By the time I actually get to use this bag I'll have had it for 2 years!!!

Henry Brown Mackie with Pink ribbon (I've had it since DC#1 = 7 years).
Had a StorkSak GiGi, but I gave it away (I wasn't too fond of it anyway).
But I have a feeling I'll be using my Balenciaga Weekender the most (until I eventually purchase a Bal Work):

I have this in Rock Lobster- just got it and completely in love with it- its light, there are a million pockets and I don't come close to filling it. THis is my 6th- yes, 6th bag and I think it works well for multiple kids because tehre is just so much space

Like it, Holds a ton of stuff. But it weighs a lot even when it is empty. If I had it to do over again, I would get a diaper bag in nylon so it is lightweight. I would also get a messenger style bag so I have more options and can put it on the stroller.

I got the Vera Bradley Ribbons one (it's the Breast Cancer line...my mom's a survivor). It's SUPER light and I can just throw it in the washing machine to clean it.

Do you plan on getting two bags?
Only asking because at some point your DH is going to take your LO out alone and I'm sure he's not going to want to carry a "girly " looking bag.
A friend of mine got me a gorgeous Coach diaper bag but when FH saw it he was like" ummmmmm you know I'm not walking around with that so you better not take off the black(eddie bauer) diaper bag off of that registry"

DS is 20 months and we have never needed a seperate bag. Ours is neutral anyway but DH never goes out alone with him. If we are all out together, DH usually has the baby and I carry the bags. So personally, I don't think seperate bags are needed for mommy and daddy.

That's because your bag is neutral and your dh never goes anywhere alone with your lo.
These bags arent (except one) netural. So I think getting a second bag isn't stupid. Just keep the tags on it and keep the receipt jic it turns out he doesn't fly solo with your lo

I had a diaper bag with DS when he was much younger. DH rarely went out with him alone where he needed to carry one. As DS got older we switched to a regular old backpack which we keep in the car. For the twins we are getting the skip hop duo deluxe. I plan on keeping the backpack in the car with extra stuff for everyone. Sometimes it is just easier to grab the backpack and throw it on my back. This way I have two hands empty at all times. Now if anyone has any ideas how to grow a third arm, I'm going to need it
