I know what your going through, this is happening to me too. I've been checking with OPK's and seeing this pattern of about 8 days. I've been doing some reading on short LP treatment and see that they often prescribe Progesterone suppositories and/or clomid. I have an appt. with a new gyn Thursday and I'm hoping this is something we can try.

You can't base when you O' from Fertility friend.

How long is your cycles? My cycles are about 25-26 days. My LP is about 11 days. I temp and use CBEFM to help pin point the exact day I O'.

I had a 7-8 day LP and my OB prescribed me clomid. that short of a LP is not conducive to pregnancy. The first round of clomid + the trigger shot worked for me and I am 23 weeks pregnant

are you using OPKs?

i ask because temping isn't always enough to determine when you O. OPKs are very reliable for most women. i always thought i had a short LP - i was going by temp and CM. ti turns out i was Oing WAY earlier than i thought and totally missing my window. so instead of a short 8-10 LP, my LP is more like 10-12 days, which is just fine.

I have been having this prob too. I did some research and am trying B6 supplements this cycle (~250mg) because I read it can help lengthen it.

Last month I was just temping. I just bought OPKs for this month though. My cycles have been all over the place since going off BCP in January. That made me a little hesitant to use OPKs...I didn't want to blow through 3 boxes in one cycle Last month was a more "normal" length cycle though, so I am going to try the OPKs in addition to temping and see what happens.
