Setting the Record Straight
OK, I have a bunch of stuff to get through today before I leave at 3, but after the events of yesterday, I need to say this.
Keep a note of this because it doesn't happen often 
First and most important, if I offended anyone with my comments about parking in a handicapped spot, I sincerely apologize. Sometimes, I get stupid and I like to push the envelope, but I didn't stop to think that it would hurt people that had handicapped people in their life. And, as I also have handicapped people in my life, I should have known better.
Truth be told, like I said, this happened years ago when I was 18, and to my recollection only happened once or twice. I can see how my posts were poorly communicated and could be construed as me doing this on a fairly regular basis. I would never because
A) It's wrong
B) It's illegal
C) It's wrong
Secondly, I received quite a few comments via posts and via FM yesterday. I must say you folks are quite creative in your vocabulary
In any case, I guess there is a perception among some of you that I am a negative person and that I convey negative thoughts and that I consistently "rain on people's parade".
I don't necessarily agree with all that, but I guess sometimes, perception mirrors reality. I will admit, I'm not Mr. Sunshine, but I'm far from negative. Anyone who knows me IRL can tell you that. I can't and won't change how I feel on certain topics; however, in the future, I will be more cautious and mindful of how I express those opinions, because I don't want to hurt anyone or appear to be negative.
