Sesame Street - Vent

Can someone explain to me why a show that has been on for 30 years and literally has thousands of episodes keeps playing the same episode over and over??!!
If DD watches the twins episode one more time and I hear them say "Three Liiiiiines" I will scream.
ok vent over

lmao!!! I think they move the segments from show to show sometimes, too, but still the same segments.

I agree, totally irritating. If they're going to repeat, how bout repeating from FIVE months ago, not FIVE days agoChat Icon DS wont even look at the repeats now (since I DVR and over play them the day they air)

We do this too. If anyone has Time Warner, they air older episodes of Sesame Street on Sprout (Preschool on Demand), from before they changed the format. I have to say though, *I* like the old format better, but DD is entranced with the new ones.

Re: Sesame Street - Vent

I have been thinking the same thing. I feel like I have watched the same 5 episodes all year. And even if the first segment is new, the rest is all the same. I swear there are only 5 Abby's flying fairy school segments.!
