I hate Mondays...who's with me??

Congrats! You've tested & it's a BFP.
How do you spill the beans to everyone else (besides your DH)?


If you haven't thought about how you'd like to spill the beans...who are you most excited to tell? Why?

I am sooo hoping to get a BFP before Christmas. It is my absolute favorite holiday & I would love, love to buy everyone "Grandma - Grandpa - Aunt - Uncle" things & surprise them that way.

I was even thinking of making cookies for the rest of my family to surprise them.


And for part 2. As much as i know my mom will be excited to have a grandchild, my MIL has no idea that DH & I have stopped BC and are trying. I am soo excited for when she finds out, she will flip!

I am most excited to tell my MIL. I know how excited she'll be for us and for herself - this will be her first grandchild. You can just tell she is dying for us to have a baby! My mom will be excited too, but she already has 3 grandchildren already and I am her baby, so I think it'll be bittersweet for her.

I have no idea how we'll tell people - but I definitely want to make it special for ILs.

When I was pregnant with my DD at about 9 weeks we had our extended family (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) over to our house for a "get together". We decorated the house with baby decorations and put up pics of our sonos so when everyone walked in they would SEE the news!! It worked out really cute.

Our immediate family we just told right away, we were seeing an RE so there was no hiding the news from them.

I am going to tell people as they ask me the infamous "So when do you plan on having kids?" then I would be more than happy to say "Oh, in a couple of months actually!" After dreading that question, I am going to take my moment and enjoy actually answering it.

We will prob just tell Dh's family at like a Sunday dinner. This would be their 3rd grandchild.

For my parents I want it t be special. I'm an only child, so their first grandchild! I think they will be shocked because I think they still think/wish I was 12 years old lol. I've heard of some very cute ways. I think my dad would get a kick out of the one when you take a picture of you and DH, write out a Mastercard saying and end with " knowing there are really 3 people in this photo..priceless" he'd laugh while my mom cries

If we get a BFP in the next month or so, we'd love to tell our families for Christmas. Otherwise, I guess we'd do it at a family dinner. Although we'd have to make the announcement several times since DH's parents are divorced, so I guess we'd have to do it separately for them and then again for my family.

If I can keep it quiet for a couple of hours, I'd run out and buy a little "I love my daddy" onesie for DH.

For my parents, I'd get "I love my grandma" and "I love my grandpa" onesies. For DH's parents, if I could, I'd try to get a "I'm going to be a big cousin" shirt or something like that for our nephew to wear.

Or the more likely scenario - shouting it from the rooftops.

I really wish I could fly to Alaska and show up on my patents doorstep! Tell them in person"!! My dad will be balling like a baby and its so freaking cute!!! unfortunately that's a bit too expensive for us to do"!!

my mom and sister will know right away... i like the idea of giving my MIL a christmas present like a frame that says "best grandma" or something like that... but I just need a BFP first!!

I would love to be able to tell them on christmas eve w/ the entire family there (which means that i need my bfp really soon!!)

i def. think about it. i watch youtube videos of people telling their DH and families. it is so cute.

i think i would love to have everyone over for dinner and dessert. While I'm serving dessert, I would bring out a cake saying "We are having a baby"
