Separation anxiety at a year old?

DS is typically very friendly. He'll let anyone hold him, go to anyone, etc. The past week or so he has been super clingy to me. Even when DH is around he only wants me and will cry and whine until I pick him up or be in the same room as him. He won't go to anyone and is always looking for me. Is anyone else going through this? BTDT moms is this a typical phase? I have a feeling going back to work in September is going to be hard

Is he teeth? Ds went through this would scream and cry if I put him in gym daycare and wouldnt nap. Once the teeth came in he was himself again

He could be. He actually only has 2 teeth so far so that could definitely be affecting him.

DS had severe separation and stranger anxiety the day he turned 1 (Oct 2010). It was like someone flipped a switch on him. Before then, he would basically go to anyone. Then he would cry at the sight of almost any man, even hubby and would cry hysterically if someone talked to him..It lasted about 6 weeks. Then he was just a little shy of strangers or people he didn't see a lot. Took a while for him to warm up to people.. Now at 24 months, he is not so bad!!! Coincided with him cutting his molars. Which didn't come in until June!!!

Aww poor baby! DH gets upset b/c dc only wants me. I hope this doesn't last long!
