Seatsaver's for car
My DH and I went to our local police to have a certified cop install our bases and car seat and go over things with us. He told us that the seatsaver's for the cars are not recommended because they were tested as not being safe...the car seat and base can glide. Anyone ever hear of this also? My DH and I are going to return the seatsaver since it's deemed not safe.

Re: Seatsaver's for car
so weird you posted this today. We just got the seatsaver yesterday at DH's work shower. I asked DH not to open it, we are going to have carseat installed on Thursday, I wanted to ask if it was safe. DH thought I was making this up...
I don't want to use it if its not recommended.

Re: Seatsaver's for car
I used one for my daughter's carseat...it never slid. Of course, I went the extra mile and used the seat belt lock that tightens with a lever not just those hard to use I shaped ones. None the less, my car's seat bounced back to shape and her seat was quite steady and still. I'm sure certain ones aren't so great, hers was not slick, it was "rough" on purpose to prevent sliding.
