eta: I don't slow down and cause delays, but I do look while stopped in bumper-to-bumper traffic.

I slow down just in case something unexpected happens (emergency vehicle pulling out or something) but not to rubber neck.

Yep. I always need to know "whats going on".
My street is a cut through for the "sub station" of the fire house. Whenever a cop goes by or ambulance, a million questions run thru my head..
"Where are they going?", Wonder what happened..etc.
I slow down and try to see as much as I can..(not that there is much, most of the time).

Sometimes - only if I've been sitting in traffic for hours BECAUSE of it...then I feel I've earned the right to look, and dammit it better be a good one.

I try not to if I am the driver, but sometimes I can't help myself, especially if it appears to be a HUGE one.
I definitely look if I am the passenger.

I prefer staring into their rear view mirror and mouthing a couple of expletives. You'd be surprised how many people can lip read!!
