my sister is blocks from there at work ... she said nothing has been confirmed - the sirens and helicopters are overwhelming
ETA - she did say two shooters, one dead, one at large  EVERYTHING on lockdown.

News said one shooter is still not caught. All schools in surrounding areas are in lockdown.

she just updated FB -
"5 reported injusted - 1 confirmed dead (shooter). We also heard that the principal was the target. Most of the districts are on lockdown. An emergency calls went into the surgeon that Anthony works for (her husband, he is there now) saying 7 injured - all at Danbury hospital. Its chaos - i think they really still dont know... will update when I know more"
I just hope that if there is another gunman at large, he doesnt show up at her doctors office looking for help or worse. They are within walking distance from the school I believe.

this just posted on FB by one of Danburys Radiostations
Danbury police are looking for a PURPLE or MAROON CAN in connection with the shooting at Sandy Hook Elem School. Armed passengers inside, one possibly in a nun's costume. We are hearing the van is headed towards Danbury - do not approach, call 911.
Posted by Danbury 98Q - they confirm it was confirmed by Danbury dispatcher
ETA - people are saying on this link that they were found in Danbury by a bank. Who knows if this is legit or not.
